At Bison Northwest, we forge handcrafted slide-in and flatbed campers, like our 5/10 and 6/3 models, to empower your wild adventures with the enduring spirit of the Bison. Our commitment to quality craftsmanship and your journey drives our policies. Below, we outline our warranty, return, and refund terms to ensure clarity and confidence in your ownership experience. 1. Warranty

Structural Warranty
Every Bison Northwest camper comes with a 24-month limited structural warranty starting at delivery, covering defects in materials and workmanship for the camper’s frame, shell, and core components (e.g., dual-channel aluminum extrusion).

 

Component Warranty
Individual components (e.g., solar panels, R9 insulation, modular interiors) are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties, typically ranging from 1–5 years. Details are provided in your camper’s manual. Bison Northwest facilitates claims for these components through authorized dealers or direct support.
 

What’s Covered 

• Manufacturing defects in structural elements or components under normal, intended use (e.g., overland travel, camping). 
• Repairs or replacements at our discretion, with ground shipping covered by Bison Northwest.
  
   

What’s Not Covered 

• Damage from misuse, accidents, vandalism, or unauthorized modifications. 
• Normal wear and tear (e.g., cosmetic fading, weather-related deterioration). 
• Issues from improper installation or use with incompatible truck beds. 
• Labor costs for removal or reinstallation unless pre-approved.
  
   

Warranty Process 

• Submit claims via support@bisonnorthwest.com with your warranty registration number, purchase date, photos of the issue, and a description. 
• Our team responds within 48 hours to confirm receipt and outline next steps. 
• Claims are resolved within 30 days, either through repair at an authorized dealer, replacement parts, or factory service (if local to Bellingham, WA).      
• We prioritize transparency and keep you updated weekly until resolution.

Customer-Centric Commitment: We are a business led by our words into action which we see as being sincere. We address claims promptly to avoid delays, ensuring you’re back on the trail quickly. For complex issues, we offer temporary solutions (e.g., loaner components) where feasible.

2. Return Policy

Pre-Order Cancellations
Pre-orders require a deposit and can be canceled within 5 business days for a full refund. After this period, deposits are non-refundable unless Bison Northwest cannot fulfill the order (e.g., production delays beyond 6 months). Contact support@bisonnorthwest.com to cancel.

Camper Returns
Due to build to order nature of our campers, returns of fully purchased units are not accepted but Bison will work to correct defects fully. For defects: 

• Notify us within 30 days of delivery via support@bisonnorthwest.com with photos and details.

Accessory Returns
Accessories (e.g., modular interior add-ons) are not returnable.

Customer-Centric Commitment: We streamline returns/repairs to avoid ghosting or vague processes, ensuring clear communication and fair resolutions. If we have difficulty with limited resources and foresee extended time to make things right we will let you know and be transparent to you so that we all know we are working to the same goal.

3. Refund Policy

Pre-Order Refunds
Cancellations within 7 business days receive a full refund to the original payment method, processed within 7-10 business days. Non-refunded deposits are credited toward future purchases if canceled after the 7 business day return window.
 

Customer-Centric Commitment: We prioritize fast, transparent refunds to build trust to you and our greater community. It may not be a fit to have your Bison now but we know that the future is bright and plentiful and we welcome to do business with you in the future when it is the right time.

4. General Terms

• Changes: Bison Northwest reserves the right to modify product specifications (i.e., materials, features) without notice due to supply change challenges and our constant continuous improvement. Any changes will be comparable and of equal function, quality, and reliability. If change has to occur we will communicate significant changes to customers so all are fully aware. 
• Dealer Repairs: Warranty repairs may be handled by authorized dealers. We ensure dealers are equipped to resolve issues efficiently. If there is no dealer or authorized repair center we will actively find a solution that is as convenient as possible and professional. Such solutions are creditable repair shops or remote RV repair in your area.
• Ownership: Warranty rights apply to the original purchaser only and are non-transferable. 
• Governing Law: This policy is governed by Washington State, USA laws, with disputes subject to Washington courts.
